It is not easy to find some tricks of WhatsApp that one may not know. But the truth is that it is not easy to know what features the application had when it was launched, and which ones were added later. So we have located some of the features that you may not know about the famous messaging application.
In this first part, we are going to see the first three tricks We're talking about them. All very simple and easy to find, but because they're apps we're used to using, we might not be familiar with them because we haven't researched them.
1.- Archive conversations
You may be one of those who leave all groups and delete them when you see that they are no longer going to be used. I am not, and the truth is that I do not know why people are like that. I say this, basically, because most of the users who delete the groups do it so that they do not appear in a kilometer list when executing WhatsApp in the entire conversation list. However, it is possible archive conversations, both group and individual, so that they do not appear in the WhatsApp conversation list. These remain archived, and if that user or group ever receives a new message again, the entire previous message list will appear, but at least you will be able to stop seeing those conversations in the initial list without having to delete the conversations or leave the group. To do this, you will only have to hold down over any conversation or group, and select Archive conversation .

2.- Change the font size
Maybe you who are under 30 years old, do not think that changing the font size is very useful. But the truth is that WhatsApp is a messaging application used by millions of users around the world. And if it has become popular, it is, above all, because users less knowledgeable in the world of technology, have also begun to use WhatsAppThese people no longer see as well as they did when they were young, and I personally don't like people telling me: "Tell me what it says here." You can change font size of WhatsApp messages without having to change the font size of the entire operating system. 3.- Backup of conversations
If you've ever uninstalled WhatsApp and reinstalled it, you may have seen the message "Backup found." This is because a backup has been saved on your smartphone. Backup of the conversations. Generally, this is generated automatically, and if we don't format the smartphone, WhatsApp should also automatically recognize it when we install and run the app, as long as we log in with the same WhatsApp account. 7.- Featured messages and powerful searches
Long press on any message and tap the star to save it as a star. Go to Settings > Starred Messages. Also, use the global search engine from the main screen or the chat search engine to quickly locate words, links, photos and documents.
8.- Chat management and exports
In addition to archiving, you can empty o delete conversations (Settings > Chats > History). If you need to keep a thread, use Export chat (with or without multimedia) and share it via email or the cloud. 9.- Groups and conversation control
A group can have several administrators. From the group info, name them and limit who can send messages (admins only) for announcements. Long press on a message and press Info to see who has received and read it. If you prefer discretion, silence and archive the groups you don't want to leave.
10.- Voice notes and assistants
Record voice notes without holding down by sliding the microphone upwards (lock). You can review them before sending by leaving and entering the chat. Send and listen to audio from WhatsApp Web / Desktop. With Google Assistant or Siri, dictate messages with a simple voice command and learn to avoid accidentally pressing voice messages.
11.- WhatsApp Web, desktop and tablet
You can use WhatsApp from the navigator or the desktop client. Pair devices by scanning the QR from Settings > Linked Devices. On tablets it also works via the web. 12.- States, dissemination and content
Publica States photo/video or just text. Share links (e.g. from YouTube) as labels in your states. Use the Mailing lists to send the same message to multiple contacts in individual chats. 13.- Security, blocking and temporary messages
Strengthen your privacy with the biometric lock of the app (fingerprint/face) and with the chat blocking by code or fingerprint for specific conversations. Activate the temporary messages (24h, 7 or 90 days) and delete messages with Delete for all within the allowed time. Share your contact with QR without dictating the number.
14.- Storage, accounts and news
Free up space from Settings > Storage and data > Manage storage to delete large files per chat.
