The South Korean company is already preparing the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4, its new flagship, which will take place on March 14, 2013 in New York City. Although we already know some of the characteristics of the device, the latest problems related to its processor leave up in the air what exactly this will be. JP Morgan, an American analysis agency, has estimated that they will choose to launch the device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 in the United States, while in Europe and, therefore, in Spain, it will arrive with an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa.
CES 2013 was the event that Samsung chose to present its new processors with big.LITTLE technology, including the Exynos 5 Octa, with a total of eight cores. If we remember, this processor was actually made up of two other four cores each. One of them had a low-performance Cortex-A7 architecture, which saved battery, and the other will be a processor with a high-performance Cortex-A15 architecture, which will be used when a large amount of resources are needed. This processor would be the one that would carry the Samsung Galaxy S4 in Spain and in its international version. In the United States, it would carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. This is what JP Morgan says.

The reasons why Samsung would do this are varied. On the one hand, the Exynos 5 Octa gave certain temperature problems, all because of the inclusion of the LTE chip, necessary, since the Samsung processor is not natively compatible with 4G networks. This reduces space and makes the device less cool. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, on the other hand, already supports LTE networks, so a supplemental processor is unnecessary. In addition to all this, the production of processors would be shared and the entire burden would not fall on Samsung, thus ensuring that it could respond to all the demand.
For now, yes, we will still have to wait until March 14 of this year 2013, the date on which the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and we will know all its details.
