The Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona will be the stage in which many companies will present their new smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9 will be just two of the great launches that will be experienced in Barcelona. However, the Sony Xperia Z4 could also arrive. The day of the Sony presentation, March 2, is already known.
Presentation of the March 2
The information that arrives about the Sony presentation event does not speak about the new smartphone that could be launched at said event, but simply about that said presentation will take place on March 2. It would be the same day that the Samsung Galaxy S6 could be presented. In the case of the Samsung smartphone, we are talking about something much more likely. And what's more, not only would the new flagship arrive, but its version with a curved screen and the smartwatch with a circular screen.
What will Sony present?
At CES 2015, Sony did not present any smartphones, so we think that the company would present them at the Mobile World Congress 2015, since it is an event specialized in smartphones. However, it is said that Sony would not present any high-end smartphones at said event, but that they would mainly be mid-range and entry-level smartphones.
On the other hand, three new smartphones from the company received certification not too long ago. By their numerical denominations, they seem to be a high-end smartphone, probably the new flagship, the Sony Xperia Z4, as well as two other smartphones, one of a more basic range, and another that we do not know much about, although it could be a smartphone with a large mid-range screen. However, the fact that these three phones received certification does not mean that they will be launched, although that led us to think that they could be the three that would be present at the Sony event, which we now know will be on 2 March.
