Three days ago we announced that a terminal called Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus and that it was an evolution of the one that had been presented at the beginning of the year, so the Korean company had decided to give a new boost to its reference model in the mobile phone market. Well, a release date for European markets has been announced, as has its price.
The great novelty of this new model is that it includes a more advanced processor and therefore its performance is benefited in all types of work. The model chosen for the evolution is the Snapdragon 805 which operates at a frequency of 2,5 GHz, so it is a step behind the one included in the Galaxy Note 4, which reaches 2,7 GHz. This can perhaps be compensated by the resolution of the screen, which being Full HD On the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it's less demanding than the phablet's 2K. Connectivity aside, LTE (4G) It is also faster on the new terminal.
Beyond the CPU jump, this model integrates the Adreno GPU 420, notable in games and graphics tasks, and a modem Category 6 LTE capable of reaching theoretical speeds of up to 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speed, compatible with the 4G+ networks deployed by various European operators. It also adds features such as Download Booster, which combines LTE and WiFi ac to accelerate large downloads.
The fact is that today it has been officially known from the hand of Samsung itself that this evolution will land in Europe before the end of this month of October. Of course, this is not confirmed for all the countries of the Old Continent, so it is possible that there is some additional delay in some (we will see if this affects Spain). Where it will arrive on the specified date is in Holland, for example.

Well yes, this is another of the details that has also been indicated today. The new Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus will cost 599 Euros in its unlocked version, so we're talking about a price that isn't crazy for what it offers, but it's not exactly a gift either. The fact is that with this information, it's now possible to get an idea and assess whether this phone is a good option for this Christmas.
Although the official reference price is that, some European distributors have even listed the device among 500 and 540 euros with specific promotions, so the final figure may vary depending on the store and country. In parallel, Samsung has even included the model in its online store in certain European regions, which anticipates widespread availability in the short term.
It should be noted that, depending on the region, this smartphone may appear with names such as Galaxy S5 LTE+ or Galaxy S5 4G+, maintaining in all cases the same key hardware: Snapdragon 805, LTE Cat 6 modem and the aforementioned Adreno 420 GPU.
