Surely on more than one occasion you have wondered how you can set speed limits in the navigation mode offered by the Android application Google Maps. Well, we are going to guide you step by step to achieve this in a simple way and without jeopardizing the functionality of the excellent development of the Mountain View company.
The truth is that achieving this is something that, using an external application, can be achieved without any problem and with a fairly high reliability. What development do you have to use? To get speed limits to be integrated into Google Maps using the previously downloaded application, all you have to do is set some parameters in the latter and then simply enjoy the added when you use the browser of the Mountain View company that, remember, you already have offline maps in many regions.
The first thing is to activate Velociraptor, which is translated, so that it has the privileges you need, something you do on the screen that appears the first time you run it (this can also be done in Development Settings). Once this is done, you must locate the section to establish the units of measurements -speed- used by the job, so that you can confirm that it is the kilometers per hour that it will use.
Here you will see that it is possible to configure the development in such a way that when you are in Google Maps a sound is emitted if you exceed the speed limit maximum that the road you are traveling on has (with options of tolerance per percentage to exceed it if you want this to be the case). Finally, it is possible that in addition to Google Maps, Velociraptor can be activated so that it integrates into other apps like, for example Waze if it is the one you prefer as a browser.
