Yesterday the new version, in the form of a preview, of the Google operating system was presented. The name of this is for the moment Android M, and it is now possible to get the development images to be installed manually for the Google Nexus 5, 6 and 9 terminals. In this way, if you have any of these you can already know first-hand what it really offers.
The most important news included in Android M can be found at this article that we publish in Android Help, and in this way decide if you think it is worth proceeding with the installation that, by the way, deletes all the content that you have on the aforementioned devices. Also, keep in mind that it is a preview version, so it is by no means "polished" for daily use and surely there are a good number of errors that have to be solved.

Proceed to installation
The steps to follow to proceed with the installation are as follows: first of all, have the ADB tools (download) and install them; get the proper Android M image to be copied to the same folder as the ADB tools; have the bootloader checked out; and set USB debugging. Now you must do the following:
- Turn off your Nexus device
- Press in combination without releasing the Power + Low volume buttons until the Android image appears
- Connect the terminal to the PC
- Run the ADB tools (look in the folder where you installed them)
- Double click on the file Flash-all.bat
- The terminal will start the process automatically and when it restarts it will already have Android M
Several updates will arrive
In a conference held during the Google I / O event, it has been confirmed that two updates will be released of the new version of the Mountain View company's operating system before it is finally and finally released. This has indicated chathaase, one of the directors of the company.
The dates for this to happen are end of June and July, where they will be launched via OTA for the models of the Nexus range that have the trial version of Android M installed and, as is the case now, the corresponding evolutions will also be available for download. The fact is that it seems that you want to establish an evolutionary system with this launch that comes especially to correct problems detected in Lollipop and that they had no simple solution through the use of patches.
