For example, if you have a personal phone number and a work phone number, you can use the instant messaging app with both accounts from the same device.

How will WhatsApp multi-account support work on iPhones?

How does WhatsApp multi-account work on Android?

Once you have registered your account, switching from one to another is very easy and you have two ways to do it:
- In the main WhatsApp window go to menu and click on «Switch accounts». This automatically opens the second account without you having to do anything else.
- Since the adjustments from the app press the arrow button at the top and manually choose the account you want to use. The app will reopen and after a few seconds you can use the second account.
To find out if messages have arrived on the account you are not currently using, go to the menu and choose “Switch accounts.” If there are pending communications, a green dot will appear with the number of messages you have yet to open.
