You can use CapCut both on mobile devices and on your PC. Here we show you how to download and use templates for CapCut from the mobile app and from your computer.
Download CapCut templates from your computer
First, open your browser and go to CapCut.com. We recommend that you save the link in your favorites for quick access in the future.
On the CapCut website, look for the templates section. If you have the site in English, search for «Templates: «. Here you will find a wide variety of templates that you can use, both video and image.
The website offers a search engine that allows you filter between video and image templates. Explore different categories like crafts, travel, and more to find the perfect template for your project.
Once you find a template you like, select the “use this template«. This will open the CapCut editor. From here, you can modify each element of the template, such as texts, images and colors, according to your needs.
How to use templates in CapCut PC
To use a template in CapCut PC, once you are on the website, select the “use this template” option. The CapCut editor will open. Here you can make modifications such as changing texts and images. If you want to modify an image, select the image and click "replace", choose a new image and wait for it to load.
You can adjust each element of the template according to your needs. For example, you can change the color of the texts, add stickers, or change the size of elements. To avoid legal problems, always remember to check the commercial use licenses of each template.
After customizing your template, it's time to export it. For this, you need Sign in to your CapCut account. Once logged in, select the download format (for example, PNG for images or the appropriate format for videos).
Download and use templates from the CapCut mobile app
Enter the CapCut app from your device. At the top, you can find the tab for create a new project. Open it to start one. Once in this section, look at the bottom for the template tab. You can choose between many templates that the app offers you.
Select one and add it to your project using the «use template«, this option is located in the lower right corner of the screen.
Choose any additional materials you want to add to your project, such as images, text, stickers, etc.
From the Preview section you will be able to see How is your project going? with the new template. If you're happy with what you see, you can continue exporting your video. The app will give you the options to export with or without a watermark.
Then, export your creation to your device. After the video is exported, you will have it available in the gallery from your device to share it on networks or by other means.
