When we use our Android mobile, we end up connecting to a large number of Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth devices. However, there is no native option to make a backup of these connections, so we show you how to create it on your own.
Improving the native Android options
Android It is a very complete system that we can enjoy thanks to a large number of options and possibilities. Thanks to hidden menus like Developer options or System UI Configurator, the possibilities are expanded. All of this helps Android your site is earned as the customization system, the one to turn to to put every aspect of the mobile as we want.
However, it is impossible for it to be perfect, and it is not. Despite its possibilities, greater than those of rival systems such as iOS, the truth is that there are aspects of Google's operating system that are often highly criticized. Among them we find the Wi-Fi connection and the inability to check passwords or, since we are, the possibility of maintaining Bluetooth connections when we change mobile, to avoid having to go device to device by re-linking, as well as being able to pass apps via bluetooth from one mobile to another.
Backups of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections: this is how you can do them with root
To solve the problem that concerns us today, first of all is that we will need to use a rooted mobile. With our Android rooting tutorials you can learn how to do it and get your phone ready to continue.
The next thing we will need is to install a simple but useful application called PAIRS. With it we are going to do everything. Allow backup of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, including settings for making mobile hotspots. It is mainly designed to work on the same device and take advantage of it when changing ROMs, but it can be used between different terminals when changing mobile.
Its three functions are:
- Backup: Backup Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. It can be saved to internal storage or microSD card.
- Restore: To recover settings from a previously made backup.
- Erase: To delete the data that you have backed up.
The application is completely free And it doesn't show ads, although it does include a donate button in case you want to thank the developer for their work. Below you have the links to directly download the latest version available at the time of writing or access the XDA-Developers post where you can find the version history.
