How to block notifications when taking a photo on Android

  • Avoid interruptions when taking photos by temporarily disabling notifications.
  • Use the MacroDroid app to manage notifications effectively.
  • Create macros that automate Do Not Disturb mode when opening and closing the camera.
  • Enjoy distraction-free photo sessions and take better pictures.

Surely it has happened to you more than once, you are taking a series of photos, of a landscape, of your friend who is taking a photo and notifications begin to appear, from your Telegram channels, from messages from your mother or of that group that are so heavy and when they start they don't stop sending messages, and of course, that way you can't frame the photo because you can't see the whole image ... I wish it could be solved ... Right? Well, we show you how!

Make notifications disappear while shooting a photo or you are playing? It seems impossible, but no, it is not. We show you how to do it with these simple steps.

Step 1. Download MacroDroid

Let's start at the base, to do this you will need macrodroidan application that we have already talked about sometime, as for example in the tricks you can do without root, but now we are going to teach how to use it for a specific purpose.

You simply go through the Play Store and download MacroDroid, without any more mystery. Once this is done, we start with the important part.

Step 2. Create a Macro and its triggers

Let's start by creating a macro and its triggers. To do this, the first thing we have to do is open the app and select Create Macro.

When creating a Macro the first thing we will have to do is select Recent Applications open (Yes, the translation is not the best).

Once this is done we will have to click on App installed / uninstalled / updated and select Installed application> Select application and select the camera app.

Step 3. Select actions

Once the macro triggers have been created, we have to select what actions they will do. To do so we go to the section Stocks to the right of the triggers.

There we will go to the section of Volume and we will open it, select Set Priority Mode. He may ask you for access to Do Not Disturb Mode, you give it to him. A window will appear to select an option, we click Priority None, that depends on your taste and how you have configured the Do Not Disturb Mode.

Once this is done we just have to give the tick at the bottom right, give the Macro a name and that's it. But we are not done yet.

Step 4. In reverse. Create a new Macro

Sure, you have already shot your photos, but you have not automated the process so that when you close the camera, activate the notifications again, this is what we will do now.

We create a new Macro and click on Open / Close Application, select Application Closed. Again our list of applications will appear and we select the camera.

Now you only need to create an action as before, but instead of selecting Priority None select All.
