If you are not fluent in English, or do not master any language of users with whom you talk through WhatsApp, it is very possible that this little trick will be useful to you with which you will be able to easily translate any phrase that you find not only in WhatsApp, but in any another application on your Android mobile, thanks to the Touch to translate function of the Google translator.
Google Translator
Logically, to use this function it will be necessary to have Google Translate. The truth is that it is one of the best translators that we can find for our smartphone, and it is very likely that we already have it installed. However, except for those users who activated this option when it was launched, it is also very likely that it is an option that you do not have activated, because by default it is never activated. Thus, first you will have to download and install Google Translate from Google Play, and then go to App Settings, select "Touch to Translate" and activate "Enable Touch to Translate".
Next, anything you copy to your Android, any piece of text, will make a bubble appear on the right side of the screen with the Google Translate icon. When clicking on this, the translator will open with the selected text and with the supposed mobile language translation that we want. Of course, we can change the languages as if we were in the application.
The Tap to Translate feature works perfectly on WhatsApp. The only thing necessary is to select the message that we want to translate, and then click on the Copy button that appears in the upper bar of WhatsApp. Once the message is copied, the Google Translate bubble will appear with which we can translate the message that we have selected. A simple trick that can be very useful to be able to translate conversations on WhatsApp.
