Floating keyboard

The Gboard not only allows you to use the keyboard with one hand but also becomes a floating keyboard. You can customize the keyboard with one-handed mode. A new button will allow change keyboard position and size according to the tastes of each one and how it is easier to use it. They can be adjusted to place all the keyboards in the center of the screen or to one side or the other, rearranging the edges. In case the modification does not convince, you can press the button that will return it to its usual state.

Text editing

In the new version there is also a site for text editing. Typing is easy thanks to some keyboard functions such as Swype or the auto-correction that Gboard includes, but editing and navigating over a text, for now, was laborious. Now, there will be a special way to carry out these tasks. The text edit icon will appear on the keyboard toolbar.

This editing keyboard has large keys and up, down, left right scroll buttons. Large buttons are also included to carry out commands such as scrolling forward and backward through text with ease. A button will also appear that will allow you to select a certain part of the text and another that will allow you to select everything easily. In the edit mode buttons there are also options for cut, paste and copy.

Toolbar reorganization

The tool bars of Gboard may also be modified in this new version. A screen will be available with additional extensions that can be used. These extensions can also be added to the main toolbar to access them quickly.

We can rearrange the toolbar icons to your liking. You just have to press and hold the elements that we want to add as main extensions and move them to customize the bar. In order to do this, you will first have to disable the 'G' search button on the keyboard. This is achieved by clicking on the Gboard configuration modes. Once the bar has been rearranged, the button can be activated again.Gboard

To achieve these functions you will have to wait for the update to officially arrive on Gboard. If you can't wait, you can install the APK version 6.2 and start editing texts or testing languages whenever you want.
