Brawlhalla is a platform combat game, a mix that is not very common within the action genre. However, it is a game imported from desktop consoles such as Xbox, PlayStation or even PC. For the Android version, we have various moves or attacks in Brawlhalla that may interest you to win the matches.
Taking advantage of its large control panel and its variety of movements, we can develop various combinations of blows and attacks in the fight to defeat our rival. There are different types, so we are going to review each of them.
Types of attacks in Brawlhalla
Mainly, we have two main types of attacks in the game, light attacks and charged attacks. The first ones, which can be done with the red button, are fast and do not need a reload time although their damage is of less effect. On the other hand, Charged or heavy attacks do need a recharge time, despite dealing much more damage. From there, there are some combos that we can put into practice.
Sliding load
It is a type of heavy attack that deals great damage on the enemy. It will allow us to charge the attack, in the event that the sand is so short that we cannot charge it while we run, so there is no choice but to do it in the air.
This is called a slide charge, which involves jumping onto the ledge of a higher platform and charging the attack just before arriving. In this way, the character will begin to slide down while charging in the attack and execute it while in the air.
Gravity canceled
It is considered an advanced technique. In fact, it is one of the most complex in Brawlhalla, since it consists of making a dodge movement in the air without touching the directional button, and while we are flying, press the appropriate attack button, either a light hit or to unload a heavy attack in the air. It is a very useful movement both to lengthen a combo, to break the opponent's recovery or to catch it in the air.
I hit the ground
It is a simpler but very functional and effective movement. It can serve us so much to avoid blows, avoid that after a blow we go off the map or hit if the opponent is just below. It is very interesting to go to the ground once we have been hit so as not to be left out of the sand. The commands are as follows:
- Light Attack + Down Arrow
- Heavy Attack + Down Arrow
Although it has some negative points. One of them is that once the character reaches the ground, he remains a few tenths of a second without attack until he recharges, so we are vulnerable at that time. To solve it, we are going to hit the jump button just before reaching the ground, so that we are going to be in the air while we recover the attack.
