Basically, with this version of the operating system, we only have to select a text, and we can already translate it. However, now Google Translate, the app that we can install on our mobile, already includes this function so that almost all Android mobiles have it. How does it work? Simple. You select a text, copy it, and then the Google Translate icon appears on the side of the screen. Click on it, and it will automatically translate the text you have copied. As simple as that.
How to activate it?
First of all, you need to have the latest version of the application, Google Translate 5.0. Update the app. Once you have the update, run it, go to Settings, within the application itself, select Touch to translate, and here choose Enable Touch to translate. With this you will have already activated the new function. The only thing left for you is to select a text in a language other than the one you have configured on your mobile, and copy it, so that the Google Translate icon appears on the right side of the screen. As simple as that.
Best of all, the app is compatible with all Android phones and tablets starting with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, so in principle, that includes a large number of phones and tablets, which can now have a function that seemed to be almost exclusive to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
