There are many applications that allow you to control a Windows computer from an Android smartphone, installing an application on the smartphone, and a program on the PC. However, in this case it is not necessary to install any program on the computer, since Mac computers allow you to log in remotely to it, so that we can control some of the applications.

Now, if we want to use the application, we will have to perform a small configuration on our Mac computer, or at least check that one of the required functions is active, as well as know what data and credentials are necessary to access the Mac from our Android smartphone. Let's go step by step.

  1. We download MacRemote: First, we must download the Mac Remote application on our Android smartphone. To do this, we just have to go to Google Play, search for the app, and select Install.
  2. Run MacRemote: With the application already installed on the smartphone, we just have to run it. As for the numbers after the @ symbol, that's our computer's IP address, and we'll need it later, so we'll write that down too.
  7. In Android, we press the Connect button that is in the upper right corner.

We find a window that tells us that we must write the data that it requests, among which we have the username, which we obtained in step six, as well as the password, which is the one that we configure in the beginning on the Mac , our user password, and the IP address of the computer.
