WhatsApp Messenger It is probably the most downloaded and installed application in the world. It has been able to leave behind other means of communication, such as short messages, or even, to a large extent, phone calls. It is present in the vast majority of smartphones. However, it is not so easy to install the application on tablets. On iPad, for example, it is impossible without jailbreaking. Many think that we cannot install it on Android tablets either, but it is not like that. It is possible to do it, and it is simple, without the need to have Root or anything like that.
What we cannot do is install it from Google Play. The application is not intended for tablets, and that is why we will not find it on Google Play if we are searching from a tablet. It is something logical and normal that should not create any mystery. However, any Android device is capable of installing and running .apk files that are not corrupted. WhatsApp Messenger is still an application that we can install on our, in this case, Android tablet. Let's see how to do it.

The first step will be to allow the installation of applications from Unknown origins. Since we are not going to install from an application store, we will have to configure the device to allow us to install from outside. To do this, we turn to Settings> Security> Unknown sources, and we made sure to check the box. Indicate what you tell us, we confirm.
Next, we go to download the application, something that we cannot do from Google Play. Nor will we have to go to other alternative stores to look for the app. Simply access the appropriate section of your own official website. In this case, you have to enter the Navigator from the Internet and enter the following address in the navigation bar: «http://whatsapp.com/android" (without quotation marks). We find a download screen, with a large green button in the center that says Download Now. You don't need a lot of knowledge of English, right? Click on this green button, and the download will start automatically.
Once the download process is finished, we open the notification bar, and click on the one related to the download of WhatsApp. The installation will begin, and we will have WhatsApp Messenger on our tablet. We just have to start it, enter all the configuration data of our mobile number, and start using it. Remember that it can only be used on one device at a time. So if we want to use it on another device, we will log out of it, and we will have to reactivate it later.
If for some reason after downloading the app, the notification does not appear in the notification bar, we just have to look for the application Downloads (o Downloads), where all the downloaded files are shown. If our mobile does not have any of these applications, we will have to download a file explorer and look for the Downloads folder in the root of our internal memory or SD card.
