Unprotecting (rooting) a terminal with an Android operating system is something that more than one user intends to do sooner or later, since thanks to this it is possible to have access to all corners of the device that you have. Well, we are going to indicate what must be done to achieve it using the tool CF Auto Root.

Just yesterday we indicated how to proceed to perform this same process on Samsung devices. Today, what we will indicate are the steps necessary to achieve r An Android device with CF Auto Root for other models, which are not from the Korean company. They are all similar, but the existing differences are important and, therefore, it should not be thought that one has to follow the same path.

Then we leave the links of the tools that must be downloaded to be able to reach a successful conclusion in this tutorial. And, therefore, they are all essential to get full access to everything on your phone or tablet. Are these:

  • Controladores to install on the computer: PC and Linux (the script must be run in a Terminal window). If you have a Mac OS computer, you must follow a more complex process that we will explain in a later article.

Root your Android terminal

The first thing is that you have to unzip the ZIP file containing the CF Auto Root tool. Once you have done this, you should follow what you we indicate below (but, first, you must make a backup and be clear that carrying out all this is the sole responsibility of the user):

  • Turn off your device and then you must start it by pressing the buttons in combination Power + Volume Down. A management menu will then appear on the screen

  • Now, and without doing anything before, you must connect the phone or tablet to the computer using a USB cable.

  • Now go to the folder where CF Auto Root is. There are several files here, you must run the one named root-windows.bat if you use a PC or the so-called linux.sh if your computer uses the Linux operating system

Execution script with CF Auto Root

  • A command line window appears displaying the corresponding notice stating that CF Auto Root proceeds to check out your Android device. Press any key to proceed

  • Everything will be executed gradually, and you have to see an Android logo of red on the screen of your Android and different lines of information (showing the operations that are carried out). When everything is finished, the device will restart and you can disconnect it from the computer

  • You can check if everything has gone properly and if your terminal has been unprotected with CF Auto Root using the tool that can be downloaded with the image that we leave below:
