Instagram today introduced two new ways to use his successful Instagram Stories. THEhe new features are related to your choice to explore and find other people's stories. So far, using the browse option you could find posts from a certain place or with a certain hashtag. Now, you can also find ephemeral stories uploaded to the network.
Now, in the Stories section you will find a new circle before the recommendations that will coincide with the location where you are. A story that will put the city or the specific place where your mobile geolocates you. Once you click on the circle, will appear stories of people in the same place that you are.
For example, if you are in Madrid, this circle will appear showing all kinds of stories (ephemeral) within the province of Madrid. Stories of people you do not know but who have used the location to say they are there. You can also search for any place in the world in the Explore tab.
Until now, when you were looking for a city, geolocated publications would appear there. Now, the featured posts will continue to appear but will also appear, next to the name of your search, a new circle with ephemeral Instagram stories that you can also explore during the hours that are published.
Instagram has also added these functions through hashtags. A few weeks ago I added the possibility of writing hashtag and tagging our publications from Instagram Stories. Now, in addition, you can find stories related to your interests through the option to explore. When you search for a hashtag, you will not only get the highlighted publications with that tag but also the stories uploaded with that hashtag.
To know if your story has been uploaded to this tab when you geolocate, you will have to go to the story options. In the list will appear, as up to now, the people who have seen the publication. At the beginning of them it will appear if your story belongs to, pFor example, “Madrid Story”. If so and if you want it not to appear, just click on the X next to the user so that it is not recommended.
The search function via location is now available for the Ansdroid app, with a new update. As explained by Instagram, the search through hashtags will arrive in the coming weeks.
