The next big Made by Google event already has a date: August 20, 2025. This is what has exclusively confirmed Android Headlines, following several rumors and leaks that pointed to mid-August. Given the prestige of this medium, we can fully believe his claims.
With this announcement, we now know when we'll officially see the new Pixel 10 series devices: the standard Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro, the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the long-awaited foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Reservations will begin that same day, and shipping will begin a week later, on August 28, 2025.
This confirmation puts an end to the speculation of recent weeks, which even suggested the presentation could take place a week earlier, on August 13. However, it seems that Google has chosen to slightly delay the event, perhaps to finalize the final details or to ensure everything is ready for a flawless launch.
Continuing but effective design
If you were hoping for a complete redesign of the Pixel 10, I have to tell you, you're going to be left wanting. According to leaked CAD renders and real-life photos of the prototype that have appeared on the Chinese social network Coolapk, the new Pixel 10 will maintain the aesthetic lines that made the Pixel 9 so successful.
The truth is, many of us expected a notable change in design, especially in the camera module, which was going to be converted to a vertical format. Nothing could be further from the truth.

This isn't necessarily bad news. The sleek, minimalist aesthetic, with its signature island-shaped camera module and premium materials, won over users last year. This time, Google has opted for continuity rather than revolution.
Now, not everything is exactly the same.Some minor design details have been adjusted. For example, the glass camera cover will be larger, taking up more space and topped with a thinner metal rim. It also appears that the camera "island" protrudes a bit more than on the Pixel 9 Pro, although this won't be fully confirmed until we can hold the Pixel 10 in our hands and compare it directly.
As with the Pixel 9, Google will keep several models in its catalog. We will have a Standard-sized Pixel 10, a Pixel 10 Pro with some additional improvements, and a Pixel 10 Pro XL with a larger screen for those who want an even more ambitious device. The big news, however, will be the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which promises to continue pushing the foldable category forward with Google's special touch.
For now, there's no news of a possible Pixel 10a, but if Google keeps up its usual pace, that budget model could arrive in 2026.
Technical characteristics of the Pixel 10
The big leap forward for this generation isn't on the outside, but rather at the heart of the devices. The Pixel 10 will debut the Tensor G5 processor, Google's first, manufactured by TSMC instead of Samsung. This change in the production chain is significant, as TSMC chips are known for their efficiency and power.
The Tensor G5 is built on 3nm technology, the same one already used by the most cutting-edge processors on the market, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The processor will have an eight-core configuration: a high-performance Cortex-X4 core, two Cortex-A725, three Cortex-A725 at different frequencies, and two low-power Cortex-A520. In addition, the leaked prototype of the Pixel 10 Pro included no less than 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, making it a true monster for the most demanding tasks.
A photographic section that aims very high
Photography has always been one of the Pixel's strong points, and the Pixel 10 will be no exception.The big change for this year will be the inclusion of a third lens in the base modelFinally, the Pixel 10 will feature a telephoto lens in addition to the classic wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses. This should improve the quality of zoomed photos and put it on a level playing field with its direct competitors.
However, it seems that to get that third lens Google has had to make some sacrifices. According to Android Authority, the Pixel 10's main camera will drop from the Pixel 50's 9 MP to 48 MP, while the ultra-wide-angle camera will go from 48 MP to 13 MP. While this sounds like a cut in numbers, the inclusion of the telephoto lens should make up for the loss in resolution in practice.
The Pro and Pro XL models won't have any changes from last year. They'll retain the same 50MP, 48MP, and 48MP sensor combination. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold, meanwhile, will see a slight upgrade, with the main sensor upped from 48MP to 50MP, while the other lenses will remain the same.
Artificial intelligence with a vitaminized Gemini
As expected, the Pixel 10 will also showcase all of Google's AI capabilities. While we don't yet have concrete details on the new features, it's clear that the Made by Google event will serve to show off the integration of Gemini and other AI tools that Google has been perfecting into its services.
We can expect to see improvements in photo and video editing directly from the gallery, real-time voice and text translation, and possibly new augmented or extended reality features, given the push Google is giving its Android XR platform.
What prices will the Pixel 10 have?
Although there is no official confirmation, leaks suggest that the Pixel 10 will maintain the same price as the Pixel 9: $799The Pixel 10 Pro will also repeat its price: $999. The Pixel 10 Pro XL will increase slightly, from $1.100 to $1.200, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will surprisingly drop, from $1.799 to $1.599. Their prices in Spain?
