Waze, the application for GPS, maps and traffic, It is a favorite of many users over Google Maps or any other service of directions. It is a community-based navigation application that helps you with your journey. Waze gives you directions and takes you to the sites you ask for. Now, Waze has received a new update that includes features such as the voice recorder.
Many of the GPS have a mechanical voice and, on many occasions, we come to hate that voice that gives us directions. Now thinking about that, Waze incorporates the voice recorder. An interesting function that will allow the registration of your own voice or of a family member, friend or acquaintance who has a pleasant voice and from whom you do not mind taking orders.
With the new update you can record your own directions with your own voice if you don't want anyone to have to give you orders. The system will use these recordings when taking you to a certain place. The update is not yet available so it is unknown if to record you will have to repeat a series of phrases or you can record everything you want, something that could be a complicated task due to the infinite number of options that are presented when you are on the road.
To record, when the new version is available, you will have to enter the Waze app, go to application settings, to the settings section. In the settings section you can configure "voice and recording settings" and say everything that will be used later.
The new update will also have general improvements and some bug fixes that will make browsing simpler, more fluid and with better performance.
Waze has more than 100 million installations from the Google Play Store and its success resides, to a large extent, because it is a collaborative application with traffic information provided by the community. It is this community in charge of giving traffic alerts, radars, road closures or other dangers.
