There are seven steps to follow when the mobile has gotten wet, and which will help save the device if possible.
- Remove the battery - Nothing else matters than this. You should not pick up the mobile and see if the screen still works, or if water has leaked on the screen. The important thing is to remove the battery as quickly as possible. A mobile is an electronic device and, therefore, works with electricity. - Check the water damage sensor - All mobiles have a sensor specifically designed for situations in which the device gets wet. If a user picks up a mobile phone, throws it in the water, it breaks down, then dries it, and wants the warranty to cover him, the company could not do anything to show that it has been dropped in the water, except to put a sensor. Therefore, it is necessary to take a risk and rinse it in fresh water.
- Dry the mobile - This step is usually the first, and here is the fourth. The first thing people usually do is dry their mobile, when that is not the important thing. The most complex thing is the screen.
