Yes, not all models should be done the same to set a shortcut to a contact on the desktop. In our case, we are going to indicate the steps that must be taken to do this with “pure” Android and, also, the easiest way to achieve the same on Samsung devices (that use TouchWiz). In other terminals the steps are practically the same.
Android without modifications
Here the process is not particularly complicated, but curiously you have to resort to the use of widgets that allows the Google operating system, since here you will find a specific option to create a shortcut to a contact.
Once you access the widgets, something you can do by continuously pressing the desktop of the terminal in question. Now you must scroll to find the option called Call directly. Select it and drag it to the desktop (the list of contacts you have will then appear so that you can choose the one you want to appear in the shortcut).
Samsung Terminals
Here the process is different, since to reach a successful conclusion you must use the application Contacts. Open it and find the one you want to put on the phone's desk.
Now, what you have to do is press on it continuously so that a menu of options appears. The one you should use is the last one that seems, which is called Add shortcut to pa. Once this is done, an icon is added that shows even the photo associated with the contact, if it is the case.
