Lately it has become common that to play a video game it is necessary to have an Internet connection. But in some cases, these video games even request to be connected to a WiFi network, due to the high traffic they generate. However, sometimes we want to skip that step to use a 3G or 4G network. For this, we can use Fake Wi-Fi Connection.

Simulate having a WiFi network

A priori, it might seem silly to pretend that we are connected to a WiFi network, when in reality we are using the mobile network, since the only thing we can achieve is to use up all the data of our connection. But really it's not so. Unlimited mobile data connections are yet to come, and it won't take long to land in our country in a definitive way. On the other hand, there are users who have 4 GB data connections, so for these it might not be too relevant having to use a WiFi network. In addition, when we go on vacation, for two weeks, sometimes we want to access a specific game, even for a moment, and not having a WiFi network could complicate it. With this module it is not necessary to have a WiFi network, as it simulates that we are connected to one, and tricks video games into believing that it is.

Xposed Framework Module

As with all Xposed Framework modules, it will be necessary to have the smartphone rooted first. Second, it will be necessary to have the Xposed Framework installed (here we explain in video how to install it). Finally, you will have to download the Fake WiFi Connection module, which is an .apk file. Once this is done, you move it to the internal memory of the smartphone or to the microSD card. Use a file explorer on your Android to locate and run it, finish said processor to have the module installed. Now go to Xposed Framework and activate the module. Restart your smartphone and you will have the module ready to be used. Just access it like any application and select in which apps you want to simulate that WiFi network.
