Could we hope that after many years our way of reading could change forever? It seemed complicated, although technology will allow us to make this happen. We talk about Spritz, a system that we can now test on our Android smartphone thanks to the applications that are available. It could change the way we read forever.
Spritz it is not a new system. Various people have been working on this approach for a long time. In order to save us having to move our heads looking for the various words that appear on the screen, the system, Spritz, shows us each word individually, and so that we can see precisely which one of them is, one of the letters appears highlighted, so that we can easily distinguish what word it is. We can get our reading speed to easily approach 350 words per minute, and even reach 500 words per minute. The official version of Spritz is only offered to third-party companies that want to choose to integrate this technology into their devices or services, as has been the case with the Samsung Gear 2. However, we can get this service already on our Android thanks to two applications.

OpenSpritz for Android
This application is not available in the Google Play application store. However, we can download the .apk file so that we can install the application on our smartphone. It is an electronic book reader in .epub format with which we can read the different books using this system.

A Faster Reader
This application is available on Google Play. In this case, it is not limited to working with a single specific format, but it will be enough to copy any portion of text that we have on the screen, and click on the share button. By selecting this application, it will start to display the text using the same system as Spritz. The free version allows us to select speeds of between 250 and 350 words per minute. For a higher or lower speed, we will have to opt for the premium version. However, to test the system and be able to use it, the free version is sufficient.
