Telegram stands out above other instant messaging applications as one of the most updated and the most functions released every so often. A few days after the release of Telegram X, now releases a new version of its classic application that adds new and interesting functions.
Telegram launches video streaming
The first function is fair to admit that it is not so novel. It is about the possibility of starting to see the videos shared through the official applications of Telegram before they are fully downloaded. This means that you can start watching a video as soon as it has been sent to you in the same way that you can today in WhatsApp. However, in the case of Telegram it is an even greater improvement if we consider the possibility of sending messages to yourself and creating your own multimedia library within the app.
Automatic night mode: two different methods
Of the themes of Telegram We have already spoken to you on other occasions, including a few notes to create your own themes. However, something that had been half implemented in Telegram X was still missing: automatic night mode. The app comes standard with three themes: normal, blue and dark. Now we can choose to change automatically with two different methods to the theme we choose. And yes, this includes the possibility of creating our own themes and choosing a light and a dark one at your convenience.
Open the app Telegram and expand the hamburger menu. Select the option Settings and scroll down until you find the option called Theme. Once there you will see that, apart from being able to choose the topics already mentioned, there is a new category called Automatic night mode. If you press it, you will see a new screen with three options: Disabled, Programmed y Automatic. The primera option is not to change; with the second you will be able to program hours and even automatically detect the local dusk and dawn (as in Twitter or Nova Launcher); with the third you can set a minimum light level under which to activate the mode in low light conditions (as in Telegram X). Choose the one you choose, you must select in the lower area what topic do you want to change to for night mode. You can even turn the concept around and select a dark base and change to a light one at night.
Telegram Login Widget: log in anywhere
The last addition is the so-called Telegfram Login Widget, and the idea is that you can log in with your Telegram account wherever you want. Websites will be able to activate and use this option in the same way as with Google or Facebook accounts. A way to amplify the use of Telegram beyond its base application.
