Once the different high-end phones get their update to the Android Lollipop operating system, it is the mid-range models that are next on the list. An example is the HTC Desire 816, a device that will be the first in this market segment of the Taiwanese manufacturer to achieve the latest iteration of Google's development.
And it will not take long for the deployment of the aforementioned update to begin, since the latest information that has been known indicates that the next month of april 2015 will be when the deployment of the new firmware begins. In this way, it will jump from KitKat, which is the version of the Mountain View company that currently uses the HTC Desire 816.
By the way, nothing is known about whether it will also make the leap to the Sense 7 user interface, which is totally official and comes with the new HTC One M9 which has been presented at the last Mobile World Congress.
