The Sony Xperia Z1 on September 24; LG G2 on October 1

  • The Sony Xperia Z1 will be available on September 24.
  • The LG G2 will be released on October 1st.
  • Apple will launch its iPhone 5S and 5C on September 20.
  • September will see the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear.

This week will see the unveiling of some of the best smartphones on the market, but what's truly important isn't just the presentation itself, but their release dates. Thanks to a document from a European carrier, we know that the Sony Xperia Z1 will arrive on September 24th, while the LG G2 will arrive on October 1st.

The carrier in question is Three, a British operator. As a European carrier, we can assume that their launch dates will coincide with the launch dates for these smartphones in Spain. The LG G2 isn't being unveiled this week, as the South Korean company already presented it officially at an event. However, it wasn't yet available for purchase, and we now know it will go on sale on October 1st. This contrasts with Sony, which, despite launching its flagship device much later than LG, will have it available on the market sooner. Specifically, the Sony Xperia Z1 will be available on September 24th. At least, that's the information Three has.

Other smartphones arrive in September

But September is not going to be a great month of releases just for these two, but for many others. It seems to be the chosen month. Apple, for example, would also launch its iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C on the market this month, with September 10 being the date chosen for the presentation and September 20 the day on which they could be purchased. Samsung is also another one that will have its devices on sale before the end of the month. Not only would the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 hit the market, but the new Samsung Galaxy Gear could also be available. And all this without counting some tablets, such as the LG G Pad, which could also be on sale this September.

The best of all is that by the end of the year more will be launched, with a launch as important as the Nexus 5 and the new Motorola that would arrive in Europe. Without a doubt, choosing a smartphone from all those that are going to be launched on the market will be a really difficult task this year.
