Backups are vital. Thanks to them, you can rest assured that the most important information you have on a phone or tablet (which is increasingly more and more diverse). There are several applications on the market that offer this, but one of the ones that we think is easier to use and also efficient is Super Backup.
The truth is that the tool, in terms of the interface, is not too attractive ... and, honestly, it doesn't need to be done, since in this type of program the important thing is that what is done is done well ... not with many embellishments in the process. The point is that the aspect is Spartan since it consists of a black background with the options in white without any additional “joy”. Also, the buttons are very simple. But, when one is using this application, this remains in the background.
A very important detail when using this application is that the destination folder in which the results are left (SmsContactsBackup), in some terminals is generated in the internal memory of the device. It is essential that in the event that a "reset" of the device is performed (Factory Reset) move this folder to the SD card, otherwise the information would be lost.
What does Super Backup offer?
Apart from the simplicity when handling it, since if the default options are left there will be no problem when using it, these are the possibilities offered by the application:
- Make backup copies on the SD card (there may be special cases, commented before)
- You can save application data, essential in games, for example (you need to be root)
- Contacts, calls, Calendar and SMS are backed up
- Reset Contacts, Calls, Calendar and SMS data
- Backups can be erased from the SD card when not needed
- It is possible to perform batch restores on the SD card
- Backups can be scheduled
- It is possible to send a scheduled email to Gmail with the backups as an attachment
- An account is made of the time it takes without performing a process
- Destination folders to backup can be changed
To use in the best possible way it is very interesting to have root (unprotected) the terminal in which it is used. Since some options, as seen in the previous list, require it. Therefore, this option must be evaluated.
The use, although the program is in English, is really simple. As we have indicated before, the default options are already an excellent option to use it and all you have to do is select the button corresponding to the process you want to carry out, as seen in the screen just below. Of course, you must first indicate to the program (in the configuration section) two essential details: the binder in which you want the data to be saved and, also, the mail account to which you want the stored data to be sent.
By the way, two final details regarding the use, the option to automate backups is the one that appears in the configuration and is called Auto Backup -Here the time periods to proceed with the work are established- and in the list of applications, to select the ones that you want your data to be saved, it is necessary to select the box that is just to its right.
Download can be done in this link from Google Play at no cost. Super Backup occupies only 560 KB, so it is ideal for any terminal and can be used with devices with Android 2.0.1 or higher. Undoubtedly, a good option that, thanks to its simplicity and good work, is a more than interesting possibility.
